Your delivery email holds the account email address, a password and the setup steps. Sign in with them on Microsoft's apps page, set a password of your own and store it safely, then install the apps. The account is a Microsoft 365 work or school account, so Microsoft's sign-in screens and help pages for work or school accounts apply to it.
Sign in for the first time
  1. Open your delivery email and find the account email address and the password.
  2. Go to Microsoft's apps page at m365.cloud.microsoft/apps and sign in with them. If another Microsoft account is already signed in to the browser, use a separate browser profile or a private window.
  3. If Microsoft asks you to choose a new password as you sign in, set it there and keep it safe.
  4. If Microsoft asks for more information to keep the account secure, follow its Keep your account secure steps. Microsoft sets up the Microsoft Authenticator app by default, and some accounts also offer a text message or a phone call.
Set your own password
Change the password from your delivery email to one only you know, as the product page advises.
  1. Go to myaccount.microsoft.com and sign in with the account.
  2. Select Change Password.
  3. Enter the current password, then enter and confirm your new one.
  4. Select Submit, then sign in again with the new password.
If Change Password doesn't appear, contact us with your order number. Microsoft's page Change your work or school account password has the same steps.
Keep the account details safe
  • The account email address can't be changed.
  • Store the new password in a password manager or another safe place. Password recovery isn't available for the account, as the product page explains.
  • Never share the password or send it to us. Your order number is enough for us to find your order.
  • Keep your delivery email as your record of the account.
What the account includes
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote
  • Access, on Windows only
  • Teams, subject to the account's entitlements
  • 100 GB of OneDrive storage, as advertised by the supplier
Outlook isn't included. The supplier advertises the account for up to five devices, across Windows PCs, Macs, tablets and phones, and the features available vary by platform.
How long access lasts
Microsoft 365 is a subscription-based service. Access lasts while the Microsoft 365 subscription behind the account stays active, as the product page explains.
