Where are Publisher and Access
Which of our Office products include Access, and why Publisher isn't in any of them

Access is in Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 and in the Office 365 Pro Account, on Windows only, and it isn't in Office LTSC Standard 2024. Publisher isn't in any of our Office products. Microsoft left Publisher out of Office LTSC 2024, and its support page states that "In October 2026, Microsoft Publisher will reach its end of life."
Access
Access comes with Professional Plus and with the Office 365 Pro Account, on Windows only. Microsoft states that "Access isn't available for devices running macOS," so there's no Access in Office 2024 for Mac or in the account's apps on a Mac.
If you have Standard and need Access, the PC needs a Professional Plus licence. A Standard licence doesn't convert, so Office is reinstalled with the ProPlus2024Volume Product ID and the Professional Plus key.
If you have Professional Plus and Access is missing, check your configuration file for an ExcludeApp line with the ID Access. Delete that line and run the configure command again to add Access.
Publisher
Publisher isn't part of Office LTSC 2024 in any edition, and nothing in Office 2024 opens a .pub file. For Microsoft 365, Microsoft states that "Microsoft 365 subscribers will no longer be able to open or edit Publisher files in Publisher," and that covers the Office 365 Pro Account too. Microsoft recommends converting Publisher files to PDF or Word format. If an older Office on the PC still has Publisher, open each .pub file you need and save a copy in one of those formats before you uninstall it.
Skype for Business
Professional Plus includes Skype for Business as an optional install. It's only useful if your organisation runs its own Skype for Business Server. To leave it out, add an ExcludeApp line with the ID Lync to the Product section of your configuration file.
Which product do I need lists the apps in each of our Office products.
