Teams doesn't come with Office LTSC 2024. Microsoft's overview says "The Microsoft Teams app isn't preinstalled with Office LTSC 2024, but is available as a separate download." The download is on Microsoft's Teams page.
Download Teams
- Open Microsoft's Teams download page.
- Select Download Microsoft Teams for Windows, or Download Teams for Mac.
- Run the file you downloaded and sign in when Teams opens.
Which account to sign in with
Microsoft says one Teams app can hold all your accounts, "whether they're for work, school, or personal use." A work or school account needs your organisation's Microsoft 365 plan to include Teams. For personal use, a Microsoft account is enough.
Office LTSC 2024 itself doesn't need a Microsoft account, so signing in to Teams has no effect on how Office is activated.
With the Office 365 Pro Account
The product page lists Teams with the Office 365 Pro Account, subject to the account's entitlements. If Teams isn't on the device after you install the apps, download it from Microsoft's Teams page and sign in with the account email address. On a phone or tablet, Teams has its own app in the App Store and Google Play.
